I’m in Texas, and it’s hot. Sunny days in the summer mean heat, and where we live, an overdose of humidity to go with it.
But my family found a great spot to spend a sunny day: at our local zoo’s splash pad. Refreshing and delightful. And a bit of a challenge to paint faithfully. But it being the watercolor challenge, I gave it my best shot.
For reference, I must show you what this heavenly playground really looks like, because I bet you would want to be there, too, on a 103 degree day.
How to survive Texas summers: find water.
Happy July, y’all!
